The defending champions Bijapur Bulls and the ever consistent Hubli Tigers have finally opened their winning accounts in the KPL 2019. Both the teams won their respective matches on Wednesday. The Bijapur team’s first game ended in a Tie as the Bengaluru Blasters scored same as the VJD par score in the chase. Bulls went down against Bellary Tuskers who chased down a target of 163 runs comfortably.
On the other hand, the Hubli Tigers sneaked in a 5-wicket win against the Belagavi Panthers. Manish Pandey played a lone-man knock for the Panthers scoring an unbeaten 50-ball 102. By virtue of his knock, the Panthers finished on 180/7. Mohammed Taha’s 55-ball 75 set the foundation during the big chase. Contributions rolled in from the middle-order as they completed the chase in the final over.
